Does YGN host my game?

Postby drmop44 » October 12th, 2015, 8:15 pm

Hi,

I have a game that I created for mobile with Unity 3D that I am re-targeting for the web. I'm attempting to integrate YGN SDK into my WebGL deployment, however I am seeing the following error:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://api.playerio.com/api/13. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://www.pocketeers.co.uk' is therefore not allowed access.

As I understand it, this is because my game is not located on Yahoo's servers?

Is it possible to upload my game to Yahoo? And how much does it cost for Yahoo to host my games?

Thanks

Mat

I'm curious, how do you managed to integrate PlayerIO SDK with a WebGL build ? I'm not even sur it can works, but if you have any info it would be cool!

Otherwise, do you have tried to host your Game on SiteBox/GameFS service, then using an iframe from your site in order to load your game from PlayerIO ?

Basically, this is the setup for Facebook, and also for web sites.

Take a look here:

https://gamesnet.yahoo.net/documentatio ... yourdomain

EDIT: Forget what i said about the ifame thing. Its only something for Facebook! But btw, its apparently possible to do what you want, by using Sitebox, following the tutorial you have on the link here.

If you succeed to use PlayerIO from WebGL, can you tell me how you done it ? Wich library or modification ?
Thanks !
Guillaume
