PayVault and A/B Testing

Postby goldbug » April 10th, 2015, 8:58 pm

I would like to sell items using PayVault, but I would like to determine the optimum price via A/B Testing.

I don't really see a way to set different price for different people for the same item. Has anyone done something like this?

Another related use case would be to randomly offer limited time sales.

The best way to implement that would be to make multiple items that give the same benefit but have different prices, and then offer different sets of items for purchase.

Yes, I thought of that, but it falls short of my goals:

I would like the a/b testing to happen automatically.
For example: I would like to enter 1 apple has a price between 30 and 100,
The app would automatically test different price points in that range.
Over time, the app would narrow down the range until it converges to the optimal price.

If I have to manually enter every price point, it would mean I would have to have 70 packages for the same item.
