Facebook Payvault in local currency

Postby everybodydraws » June 20th, 2013, 9:54 pm

Hi

I was getting an error when making a purchase in facebook via payvault:

"App Cannot Accept Payments: The app you are using cannot accept payments at this time. You have not been charged for this transaction."

Then, in the advanced properties of the application I disabled "Local Currency Payments Breaking Changes:" which was enabled by default and the purchase went fine but in facebook credits.

I found this documentation,

https://developers.facebook.com/docs/howtos/payments/

Does player IO complies with the new procedure?

I found that the product_url has no documentation:

post5922?hilit=product_url#p5922

If this is what changed, would it be possible for player io to update the documentation acordingly?

Regards

Also interesting in this. Will Payvault work with the new local currency Facebook is introducing?

Is this still broken? Finally got around to switching to Facebook currency from paypal and now it doesn't seem to work. Am I doing something wrong? Sigh.

We implemented this last year, so it should be working. Facebook doesn't always give out very helpful error messages, so finding the error is sometimes tricky.

Are you using the "facebookv2" PayVault provider?

Have you enabled the local currency breaking change on Facebook?

Have you followed all the instructions on https://playerio.com/documentation/payv ... facebookv2 ?

Thanks Henrik for the quick reply. No, I did not use facebookv2! I'll implement that and post my results.

Worked flawlessly with v2 ;)

Sorry, somehow I missed the v2 completely!
