What is the way FIFA 23 Ones to Watch work?

Two players were released as FIFA 23 Coins of the Squad Building Challenges as well. Angel Di Maria has expired already however you didn't miss a match due to his difficult beginnings on the pitch at The Old Lady (club in chaos, dismissed against Monza).

Franck Kessie, formerly of Serie A but now at Barcelona in LaLiga, is potentially an intriguing card however it's not cheap for what you will get, especially in light of Barca's inconsistent performance. Federico Valverde's Players of the Month SBC was released a few days later and is a good place to put any duplicate fodder. It will take more time to complete it as well.

What is the way FIFA 23 Ones to Watch work? Ones to Watch has been adjusted over the years due to the fact that - whisper it - it wasn't actually very good and many of the cards were discarded fairly quickly. It still isn't exactly amazing however it's definitely superior to what it used be.

The principle is to have players that have been moved during the summer months can be chosen for Ones to Watch, meaning they get a special card designed and then released through packs, Squad-Building Challenges or Objectives. If they are able to secure an in-form (Team of the Week) card to represent their new club, their Ones to Watch is automatically changed to reflect their updated statistics.

It is also known in FUT parlance as a 'dynamic card' because it is able to change based on things outside of the game. But because the majority of OTW players didn't have an optimally-formed (adapting to the club of your choice isn't easy even if your name is Erling),

last year EA made changes to the way OTW cards function, by adding a 'Wins to Watch' feature. Because this is a (weird) World Cup year, buy FUT 23 Coins Ones to Watch cards can also receive an 'Nations To Watch' upgrade.
