Cannot connect to dev server with two clients

Hey,

I launched dev server locally and trying to join the same room with two console clients.
First client joins room successfully - room is created.
When second client joins room, he is disconnected after couple of seconds.
reason: received Bytes == 0 localhost.

Os: Macos

I attached a screenshot.

If I run development server via console and two clients try to connect, the exception occurs:

Hey,

We actually don't officially support running the dev server under anything but Windows, so I'm actually surprised it worked as well as it did with only one client! :D

Hi, Henrik!

I successfully ran two clients :)

Player IO works absolutely fine under Unity3d version of mono!
All I had to do is to start server from Unity3d monodeveloper.
There was no issues at all, everything works fine.

Why you do not support Player IO under Mac Os if it works there?)

Awesome, that is pretty cool!

Why you do not support Player IO under Mac Os if it works there?


Official support means that we have to ensure every new version we release works on that platform, and every time that platform changes, we have to make sure it still works, and that is a lot of work we would have to put in.

So it'll have to be unofficial support for now, it's great that you got it working, and it's great that you can do PlayerIO in a MacOS-only dev environment!

Ah, thanks for this info. I had the same question here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=36541&p=51897#p51897

@Henrik - Please consider updating the site and getting started documentation to specify that Windows is required to the test server. This would help save us developers using Mac quite a bit of time getting started with the SDK. Also, please let us know if there are plans to support Mac development environment in the future.
