Before I commit to using sitebox, i'd like to know if the url is customizable. If I choose my own domain name will that be secure? Or will it have to go through a sitebox domain name?

I realize the information is in the forums but that info is years old...

No, Sitebox does not work over HTTPS with custom domain names for certificate handling reasons.

You can access your Sitebox site over HTTPS with a generated domain name only, because it has to match the certificates that we can serve.

If page URLs don't matter, you can iframe the generated URL on your own domain that you host somewhere else.

You could use something like Cloudfront and have them handle your domain certificate, with the HTTPS Sitebox site as the origin server.
