Development Server and BigDB

Postby ggibellato » July 1st, 2013, 7:36 pm

Hi

I'm new at PLAYER.IO and maybe this was already answered but I didn't find anything on the forum.

So I'm developing my Server using the Development Server feature, I also would like to have a BigDB locally and in this case I can have my own development database separated from the site database.

Is that possible? Do I need anything special for that?

Thank you

The easiest way to accomplish what you want is to setup another game and have one be the live game, and the other the dev game.

Hi Thank you for your reply

Also if you allowed me to carry on asking, how will be the usage of the access on BigDB, those that count on my usage?

I also see a post about have a local XML to be parsed and based on the local xml have the data for execute tests(nunit).

Do you know how this can be accomplished?

It's the sum of BigDB usage across all your games, so it should be the same in the end.

I have no idea.
