iOS Client

Any chance of there ever being an iOS library/client?

I know I can use Unity to build for iOS BUT... you need Unity Pro version + iOS pro version = $3,000.

When you build for iOS and include the Unity stub it makes your program HUGE and you can't get under the 20meg "over the air" limit.

Thanks!

The OTA limit is 50mb since mid march 2012 (iPad3 pre-announcement timeframe) so thats no longer a problem.

and if you have the required pro you can enable stripping to overcome the size growth easily again - just ensure to keep in mind that ARMV6 + ARMV7 builds double the size of the binary itself as ARMV6 and ARMV7 are not compatible and require two distinct binaries.

We have an OBJ-C API en beta. If that is what you are looking for, write me an email at chris@player.io and I will set you up as a beta tester.

If you are looking for Adobe AIR support for OSX we offer it to paid members.

Best
