HTML5/JS Client

Hello you young whippersnappers

What about making a pure JS version of the client libraries, for use in html5 games?

...iPhone games anyone? :)

HEY SBEAM!

Welcome, welcome, welcome.

If there is enough demand for it, we'd build it... but is there?

You can write the JS client if you want?

Given that Zynga just bought the Aves engine folks, I'd say there is definitely a small, yet growing demand. I think you are asking the wrong question. "Is there a demand for this" - whereas if you were to take the initiative and come out with js libraries for this stuff, you could be THE library for anyone who's looking at building HTML5 based games.

We meet again, triptych.

Agreed, a js/HTML5 multiplayer service would be nice, and would give me more incentive to start doing some html5 dev.
