Thanks, I'm aware the stage doesnt fit in laptop screens. I cant think of any way to make it fit though...

Didnt know about the tabs, guess I'll change it to some other key.

I reduced tile size from 24x24 to 20x20. Stage is 800x630 now so it should fit in a laptop screen.

... Wow... just wow -- that's pretty cool! You've got all the stuff; Different unit classes, terrain, path finding, unit building, waypoints, special attacks, crouching-around-corners...

Amazing!

Whats your plan for the game?

Wow!

Just took the time to play trough the tutorial and then play a few rounds in Multiplayer. Great game, having much more depth than first anticipated.

What's your long term goals with the game? I think it become very popular in the open flash game market, especially if you bundle it with a 5-10 single player missions to get people really started.

A few suggestions:

Better Lobby - A lot can be gained from having a great lobby, the one I wrote as an example might not be the best for a game of this type. From a gamers perspective, I would expect something with a chat and a live view of rooms I can join.
Accounts - Allow me to login, saving my game options etc.
Level editor - Allow players to create levels to battle in.
Teams - Let me and my friend play as a team against other teams
CO-OP missions - Make levels that I can only ever really win if I play with a few of my friends.

Lastly, you might want to see if you can get an artist to help you with the project. Your graphics are not bad, but getting people started with a game is always easier if it's really pretty.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

The graphics are just temporary, there's a guy who usually helps me with the art but he's been busy lately... so I'm still looking for an artist.

I should probably start working on the login and persistence stuff.

Can I get some tips on the lobby? I just took some of your code and made a list of the currently open rooms... I was thinking of adding filters once I implement some options in the game creation window.

About the single player... probably not gonna happen :(
The AI needed for controlling a squad is way beyond my skill.

Thanks again for the feedback, always very useful.

Soldier animations so far:
[flash=]http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1283122586[/flash]

Making pixel art animations is hard... especially doing 8 directions for movement.

The soldier looks great!

Remember to a bunch of playtesting with new users -- there is a lot to learn, so you might loose a lot of players if you're not sure there is a nice easy learning curve...

There's not much to show,
since the last month I just worked on UI and bugfixing.
I added a ton of new levels too.

As soon as all the soldier animations are done I'll upload it.

I cant play!

It comes with the error:

SITELOCKED
This game cannot be played at this location.

Why?
I'm from Germany, but why don't you allow people from other regions to play your game?

The game probably has been taken down from that site. I get the same error.

Yeah, sorry. I keep changing the game and breaking older versions all the time...

The sitelock message is actually a datelock, I always datelock my tests so they stop working in a couple of months.

Simply Amazing!

A few points.
1: I would like to be able to replay the tutorial
2: A ranking list for multiplayer (based on accounts) would be awesome
3: I did not get asked to play the tutorial when I pressed practice, thus I was totally lost on what to do (Having forgotten the gcontroles)
