Offroad Online

Postby RastaRalle » April 19th, 2012, 12:31 pm

Hi,
I finally managed to release my facebook game "Offroad Online".
It's basically an endless driving truck game with some cool features like highscores, quests and realtime multiplayer races against friends.
You can customize your truck with a lot of extra stuff, and destroy your friends trucks in real time races with many power ups like bombs and nails.

The game is in early beta stage right now, so I would be glad if you could report some bugs. Right now the game is only available on facebook. A non facebook version will be coming soon.

Game has potential, but I think it can be improved quite a bit. It lacks a lot of polish and it needs new artwork. I really think you should invest $200-$400 to get a professional artist to do your art. There are a lot of them on deviantart.com that would do it for that price range, which is really affordable.

Try adding some more sound effects in the game too, that will improve its quality.

Also, 1 suggestion. I played 1on1 with my mate and died, and he kept playing. I have no idea if I can ressurect somehow, but if not, the race should end, shouldn't it?

All in all, lots of potential in this one(IMO), make sure you polish it to greatness. :)

Thanks for your feedback!
Sadly I already spent a lot of money on art. Unfortunately the designer turned out not to be the best in doing UIs and stuff. That's why it looks so unpolished...

A multiplayer game always has 3 rounds. So if you die, you have to wait until all players are dead, then the next round starts. Didn't it work like this, as you were playing?

I will try my best to really polish this up!!!
