A beautiful (and cancelled) player.io project

Postby cerebralgames » May 18th, 2011, 2:28 am

Well, first of all my name is Israel Lazo from Cerebral Games

The past year and part of this year we were working in a beautiful project for a local client, it was a small MMO for young kids, some features are:

  • No chat (safe for kids)
  • Customizable characters
  • Different "islands" to play with friends
  • Objects in the islands can be actioned by any user
  • You can buy clothes, accesories and animations
  • Single player minigames to earn coins
(Some screenshots below the text)

Sadly our client cancelled the project some months ago and the game will not be released :(

I really loved to work with the playerIO API, i'm anxious to start a new project we are planning for this year.

Wow that's some great art and the description sounds cool, too! Don't let it get to you, just make the next great game and get it released. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next. :)

Hey,

Who owns the rights for the graphics, code etc. produced so far?

the client paid for it so i think we can't use those graphics, but the code can be reused by us in other projects. But i don't think we weould create a MMO for kids, is not our kind of games we use to make.

That's sad... i was hoping we could convert it into a simple example project for the development package :-)
