Random White Boxes in SWF When Uploading to GameFS

Postby fizzy79 » August 25th, 2015, 12:39 pm

Hi there,

For a while now, I've been seeing random white boxes appearing and disappearing when animations are playing in our game swf. It only happens when playing the game after uploading to GameFS on the Facebook Canvas page. It doesn't happen in Flash's dev environment and it also doesn't happen if I play the swf in the browser using the direct link for the swf from GameFS or upload to my own server, so it seems to be related to how the swf is embedded.

Has anyone come across this before or know of a potential fix? I'm not sure how to modify the index.html file or master.php file to change how the swf is embedded, or if there's another way to fix it without changing the code on those pages. I'm just using the standard template for the Seedlings example.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, we are delaying our launch because of this issue. :-(

Thanks!

Figured it out - had to add wmode='opaque' to the html file. :)
