Features request

Postby Pawel Wozniak » March 27th, 2015, 1:50 pm

Yahoo games network services are great but in my opinion there are two features missing that could make it fully usable for game studios like us (few casual games for FB and mobile several million users, 1000+ users online in each game).

1) REST (for Facebook notifications or data exchange with other 3rd party apis)
2) crone (for periodic BigDB operations and Facebook notifications)

Do you plan to add any of this?

For point #1, what you are basically asking for is more control over the Web methods in the API, so that you can set custom headers and methods, right? That's definitely possible, I bumped it on our internal wishlist.

Point #2 is much harder, and we've discussed it internally many times, but haven't yet reached a good solution.

Thanks for your reply. I didn`t notice there is a Web class inside serverside API (the documentation of this class is from times when it was playerio and had other pricing plans i guess). Hope you will add some crone-like service to your API in the near future :)

Cheers.
